The Governors’ South Atlantic Alliance Seeks Your Input on Future Network for Coastal and Ocean Issues

This year, the GSAA is celebrating 7 years of accomplishments since its establishment in 2009. From research on coastal vulnerabilities, to regional workshops on water quality and shoreline stabilization approaches, the Alliance has brought together professionals from across disciplines and across political boundaries to develop shared solutions to coastal and ocean issues in the South Atlantic region. One of the most valuable outcomes of this partnership has been the expanded collaborations among our diverse membership.

As the GSAA closes out operational and research grants in 2016, our members would like your feedback on the potential transition to a new network of coastal and ocean professionals and stakeholders to facilitate continued networking, information sharing, and identification of research and management priorities for the region.

A survey link is available below and we’d appreciate your honest opinions on the ideas presented.  The survey has 13 questions and we expect responses to take approximately 15 minutes.  The survey will be available until August 20, 2016 for your feedback or additional ideas for the future of regional collaboration in the South Atlantic.
